Parents and guardians bring your child with special needs to discover and enjoy the benefits of yoga, where we will learn some yoga postures that will be taught in a small group setting of 4-5 in an easy and fun way through the imaginative use of animal shapes and movements. Encouraging them through play for better body coordination, self calming, digestion, better sleep, improving health and most of all some cool time. We will do an art project based on feelings and talk about our emotions and how to self regulate and calm ourselves when overwhelmed by too much stimulation or anxiety. We will also learn about fresh herbs like mint, basil, and pineapple sage their scent and flavor. Yoga is a beautiful way to encourage a healthy mind, body, and spirit. This will be a space for them to be themselves, have fun, share some giggles and enjoy each others company.
