Start your journey on a more authentic, trustworthy, and compassionate way of life.
This is where we start the path of taking yoga off the mat and into the ‘real world’. We tend to live our lives in a little shell of small cultures where we can’t see past the bad news headlines, and into the good in people. It takes effort to look beyond what we don’t know and many of us don’t have the tools to be able to navigate in this fast paced world.
The Yamas and Niyamas are the ‘moral code’ of yoga. The yamas are the universal codes. They can be put into every situation that you will find yourselves in. They are the tools that we have to build ourselves into being a more pure human being. The niyamas are the steps that we take to make the world a more suitable place to hold our and others’ life. While it is important to treat ourselves with ultimate respect it is just as important to treat our surroundings and others with the same respect.
In this two part workshop we start the dive into the world of living yoga off the mat. Learning the what each yama and niyama is and learning how to practice them in our daily lives. This workshop is for anyone ready to dive a little bit deeper into themselves.
