Yoga In Anoka

Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra Monday, April 21st 6:00pm – 7:00pm (SUN STUDIO) Class led by Kamie Cost: $18 or use a class off your package. Please pre-register. Our bodies have the ability to relax given the right circumstances. Restorative yoga uses supported poses held for a longer period of time to find rest and to restore for the “fight or flight” mode that we often find ourselves. Yoga Nidra means Yogic Sleep and refers to the conscious awareness of the Deep Sleep state. In Yoga Nidra you leave the waking state, go past the dreaming state and then go to deep sleep, yet remain awake. Restorative yoga and Yoga Nidra have an immediate effect on heart rate, blood pressure and is a proven therapy for chronic stress, insomnia, trauma from past physical injuries, and other all-too-common ailments. Emphasis on complete muscular relaxation and comfort are emphasized to achieve a quiet state of mind and body.
